V. Shane is a 30 year career traditional artist and digital illustrator. Influenced by Bernie Wrightson, Barry Windsor-Smith, Michael Kaluta and Jeffrey Jones, for his line work, and inspired by Frank Frazetta, Keith Parkinson, Todd Lockwood and Michael Whelan in his painting technique.Shane’s cartoon influence comes from Bill Waterston of Calvin & Hobbes, and Gary Larson, creator of Far Side.
Shane was the illustrator for the fantasy comic strip: Wizards Without Coats has been published on the sites; Abandoned Towers and Geek Native.
