Alex Valdiers started writing stories at the age of eight. He grew up in Lyon, France, where he wrote plays, novels, and poetry – and was fortunate to meet with filmmaker Bertrand Tavernier when he tried his hand at screenwriting.
Tavernier did not accept his screenplays, but he taught him a lot about storytelling and advised him to switch from French to English if he wanted to have a successful career as a Science Fiction writer.
Alex Valdiers now lives in England with his wife and two cats. He keeps writing stories and learning the craft of storytelling.
