.Dee Caples has two children and two grandchildren and has lived all her life in the same Texas town. She was first published in Altered Reality Magazine in 2018 and has been featured there regularly ever since. Nonfiction short stories Frozen Behind Glass and Parents’ Day have appeared, respectively in Potato Sour Journal and Talking Soup.
Her short story Brothers appeared in Esskaye Books Scare Me anthology just in time for Halloween 2020
