Meet Jack Mulcahy 1

Jack Mulcahy (b. 1951) has been a writer since the late 1960s. He is the grandson of Irish immigrants, for whom storytelling was a fine art.

Jack graduated from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1977. He wrote mostly for newspapers in the 1970s and 1980s, then turned his attention to fiction. In the mid 90s, he made his first sale, a story called “The Talisman,” to the magazine Lesbian Short Fiction. He has since sold a number of other stories, including one that earned third place in a worldwide Cinematic Short Story contest sponsored by ScreenCraft.org. Another tale, “The Stolen Heart, is advancing to the quarterfinalist round of the 2019 ScreenCraft contest.
