Jennifer Walker was born in Memphis but left the land of the Delta for suburban New Jersey in the second grade. She lost her southern accent only to find it awkwardly reappear when talking to people who have their own. After an intense childhood studying ballet she took it easy after college and went to medical school. Over time she’s learned various skills such as how to put together a vending machine, how to fix a 1977 Volkswagen bus potentiometer, and how to walk on her hands, as one tends to do. But writing is her true love.
She writes mostly short stories and they can be read in recent or upcoming issues of Fleas on the Dog, Not One Of Us, Arcturus Magazine, and Eclectica Magazine. She lives in the Virgin Islands with her girlfriend and their two exquisitely beautiful and understandably narcissistic dogs.
