Medina Jones is Somali-Canadian high school student living in Ontario, Canada. She didn’t particularly enjoy writing as a young child, and regularly threw fits if a teacher asked for a story. But she’s come a long way, and now loves it – even without the threat of a time-out. Sunshine Valley is her first publication, and is also the only assignment completed on time for her Writer’s Craft class.
