Meet Salim Kingo


Salim Kingo lives in Brooklyn where he feeds stray cats, makes good hummus, and explores an obsession with fables and frame narratives. He’s especially fond of 1001 Nights, The Kalevala, and the works of Italo Calvino.

A former contributor to the Los Angeles Times and, he is the (uncredited) author of “Great Buddhist Stories” and “More Great Buddhist Stories,” and co-author of “The History of Buddhist Humanism.”
