When Sylvia was four, she insisted that her mother write down some of her stories, which were mostly about bunnies hop-hop-hopping and bears falling off ladders. Since that time, she has continued to write stories with increasingly better-developed plots, but with fewer talking animals. More recently, two short stories were awarded “Honorable Mention” with the Writers of the Future Contest. She is currently at work on two full-length novels while continuing to write poetry and short stories.
Sylvia lives in Southern California with her husband and two cats. She has a cooking blog which chronicles her cooking adventures and disasters, www.holidaykitchenadventures.com.
