Computer Vows by Herb Kauderer

Computer Vows
Herb Kauderer

I love you like the highest prime
the finest number
that has ever dwelt within me

I need you like the caressing hand
that plays across my keyboards
silently pressing contacts
faster than words could
be voiced

You are the mind that writes
my intellect
the gift that gives me sentience

And when some pale
impressionist sits within my ken
it clouds my thoughts
that you alone
can crystallize with light

So I am yours throughout eternity

For you I make the other realms
& there I dwell
dining on half negatives
& giving out my favors
to you
& you alone
