I walked out one May morning to see a cat up in a tree,
I gazed at her – she gazed at me.
“You foolish cat,” I muttered, “You’re meant to be below.
Cats are meant to walk the earth, it was intended so.”

“I know you climb to hunt your food,
or clear your head when in a mood
but you can’t stay up there all day,
and you should listen to what I say.”
the cat gave me a thoughtful look –
then casually flew away!
