Last Stand on Privacy by Herb Kauderer

Last Stand on Privacy
Herb Kauderer

I got tired
of every level of government
legislating sex as if
ANYONE could actually control
what people do together
(or alone)
in their bedrooms.

That’s why I moved my bed
into my bathroom. It’s
the only place left
that they keep their eyes
to themselves; so that’s
where I take my last stand
on privacy.

You and the prying eyes
of my smartphone
can stay in the family room
where you belong.
