Meet Robert Frazier

Robert Frazier lives on Nantucket Island and works as the curator of exhibitions for the Artists Association of Nantucket. He has attended the Clarion Writers Workshop and Sycamore Hill Writer’s Workshop. He received the Grandmaster Award from the Science Fiction Poetry Association in 2005.

Frazier is the author of nine books of poetry, and a three-time winner of the Rhysling Award, as well as receiving the Asimov’s Reader Award for poetry twice – the most recent in 2016. Over 100 of his poems have appeared in Asimov’s SF, as well as hundreds more in Twilight Zone Magazine, F&SF, Omni, and other anthologies and publications. In addition, he was on the 1991 final ballot for a Nebula Award for fiction in collaboration with Lucius Shepard.

His poetry collections include Perception Barriers, The Daily Chernobyl, and Phantom Navigation (2012). His most recent book (in collaboration with Bruce Boston), entitled Visions of the Mutant Rain Forest, is upcoming from Crystal Lake Publishing in 2017.
