Time Shift 28 by Denny E. Marshall

Time Shift 28
Denny E. Marshall

Woke up from a sleep
In a landscape of the past
Surrounded in vegetation
With an ancient glow

Look down at new tracks
In the shape of a circle
Thought they were a strangers
Turn out to be my own

Climb up a straight edge
Out of a swallow hole
Didn’t know it was a footprint
Much larger than my own
