Folk Tales

Folk Tales, also sometimes call Fairy Tales, are stories that have been around so long that usually their origins are lost in the mists of time. There are usually more than one version of any folk tale, and most of them have either lessons to teach or are an attempt to explain something about the world.

Most of us know a few of them – classics such as Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella, but there is a wealth of hidden treasures in folk lore and we hope you find those we list here to be enjoyable.
The art of writing a folk tale is almost lost, thanks to a heavy focus on other forums of fiction, but a few authors keep the tradition alive, and we are happy to include their works as well.
