In three point five billion years
John C. Mannone

Our Sol will begin to bloat
Planets swallowed in red glare
The Kuyper Belt soon loosened

Frozen graves will resurrect
A million comets will rain
Down on us like fireworks

We’ll be long gone beforehand
Before Sun’s funeral veil
Draws its nebulosity
