Snow Monster from Uranus Part 3 by Celine Mariotti

At Paul Revere Hospital, Louie Carillo was in the Intensive Care Unit.  He barely could speak, and he was hooked up to an oxygen machine.  In his semi-conscious state, he envisioned Jezi the Snow Monster, and a shadow that looked like his son Peter, the brave policeman.

When Louie lapsed into a coma, Peter contacted Margaret and Mary, sending a squad car to pick them up and bring them to the hospital. Meanwhile he and Officer Dobson trudged through the snow searching for the Snow Monster from Uranus. They weren’t sure what to expect or anticipate when they found this creature. Their minds were racing with scary thoughts and their bodies were frozen.

“Pete! My God! I’m so cold…… My…my…face is frozen,” said Officer Dobson.

“I am too. The temperature is -10°. Just keep moving. Keep your blood flowing,” advised Peter.

            “Did you hear that?”

“Yeah, a big thumping noise. Like two big feet pounding in the snow,” said Peter.

“Oh…oh no, oh my God!” screamed Officer Dobson.

Peter looked in the direction John was pointing.  “Oh my God! It’s the Snow Monster from Uranus!”

“Oh, Sweet Jesus! He’s coming at us!” exclaimed Officer Dobson.

“Who might the two of thee be? Is this my lucky night with the Earthlings? Did you pick up your other Earthling, Louie? I left him in the cave as he was of no practical help or use to me. You two on the other hand look like specimens who can help me. What sort of vestments are those that thee art wearing? Thee looks most peculiar to me,” bellowed Jezi in a very loud, deep voice.

“That was my dad you left in the cave! He’s an older person and you attacked him. He’s now in the hospital thanks to you. As for our ‘vestments’ as you put it, we are policemen, and we wear police uniforms when we are on duty. Now, what made you come to Earth and why are you here? What is it you want?”

“I’m in need of minerals of all kinds, fuel, and food for the people of my planet.  The leader of our colony, Urzel ordered me to come here and collect what I need with the help of Earthling mortals. Now, your father was not in the position of someone who could help me but perhaps you two are,” called out Jezi again very loudly.

“I don’t know that I want to help you after what you did to my father, so the answer is a big fat no. Now go back to your spaceship and leave our planet now,” ordered Officer Peter Carillo.

            “Are you in charge here?”

“No, the mayor is,” answered Officer Dobson.

“Ah, ha, he doth spoke. Where is this mayor?”

“I doubt the mayor would want to speak to you.  Let’s go John.”

Just then, four policemen arrived with their guns and began shooting at Jezi, the Snow Monster from Uranus. The Snow Monster could not be killed. In fact, the Snow Monster grew bigger and bigger, and the officers were suddenly frozen in one spot. They didn’t awaken till hours later, all shaking from the cold. Somehow, they all managed to get back to their squad cars, and they summoned the ambulance to take some of the officers to the hospital as some of them didn’t feel well. The others managed to drive back to the police station.

The Snow Monster from Uranus continued his quest and now with the help of one of his technical gadgets, he appeared on national TV. Officer Peter Carillo had taken the alien’s tablet with him, and he would give it to the people in the Forensics Department at the police station. Meanwhile, the Snow Monster from Uranus was about to cause a lot more havoc…
